📖अर्थ : जो समस्त सांसारिक इच्छाओं से मुक्त हैं, जिनका शरीर आनंद के अश्रुओं से सराबोर है, और जो पूरी तरह से निर्मल स्वभाव के हैं, आज मैं अपने हृदय में स्थित वायु के पुत्र (हनुमान जी), श्री राम के दिव्य दूत का ध्यान करता हूँ। जिसका रूप युवा, लाल कमल जैसा है, जिनकी दयालु दृष्टियाँ अनुग्रह से ओत-प्रोत हैं, मैं उस जीवनदाता प्रभु का ध्यान करता हूँ, जो अद्भुत गुणों का भंडार है और माँ अंजना के आशीर्वाद से उत्पन्न हुए हैं। मैं उस भगवान की शरण में जाता हूँ, जिनकी कमल जैसे विशाल आँखें शंभरा के शत्रु (कामदेव) के बाणों से भी अधिक प्रभावी हैं; जिनकी गर्दन शंख के आकार की है, जो वायुपुत्र की कृपा से भेजे गए हैं, और जिनके ओठ लाल बिंब फल के चमकते हुए रूप में शोभायमान हैं। हे भगवान हनुमान! वह रूप मेरे सामने प्रकट हो, जिसने सीता के शोक को दूर किया, श्री राम के पराक्रम की महिमा को प्रकट किया और रावण की प्रतिष्ठा को नष्ट कर दिया। मैंने वानर जाति के उस नेता को देखा, जो दानव जाति के कुमुदिनी के प्रति सूर्य की किरणों के समान था, जो संकटग्रस्त लोगों की रक्षा के लिए समर्पित था और जो वायु की संचित तपस्या का परिणाम था। जो हनुमान जी का यह पंचरत्न नामक स्तोत्र पढ़ता है, वह इस संसार के सुखों को दीर्घकाल तक भोगकर श्री राम की भक्ति प्राप्त करता है। |

I contemplate Hanuman, whose face is like a red lotus, whose eyes are filled with the nectar of compassion, who is the life-giver, whose glory is delightful, and who embodies the fortune of Anjana. I take refuge in Hanuman, whose eyes are large like the petals of a lotus, whose neck resembles a conch, whose lips shine like the bimba fruit, and who is the embodiment of the wind god’s grace. May the form of Hanuman, which alleviated Sita’s sorrow, manifested the glory of Lord Rama, and destroyed the fame of the ten-headed Ravana, shine before me. I behold Hanuman, the leader of the monkey hosts, who is like the rays of the sun to the lotus of the demon race, the protector of the distressed, and the result of the wind god’s intense penance.
