One should do Pooja or Energising the Rudraksha Mala on regular intervals, as recommended by shastras. There are two different vidhis for energizing Rudraksha.
Moreover, wear on any auspicious day or Monday or Shivaratri day.
Ritual needs to be followed for Rudraksha wearing or worshipping:
Wash or sprinkle Rudraksha mala with Gangajal or pure water.
Also, apply sandalwood paste or asthagandha.
Offer incense / dhoop and white flower.
Importantly, touch the Rudraksha to a Shiv Ling or Lord Shiva’s photo and chant ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ for a minimum 108 times and thereafter Rudraksha mala can be worn.
